Lavender is a truly wonderful herb! It can be used in many ways, it smells great, repels moths, and looks beautiful. But eat lavender? Is that possible?
Oh yes! You'll find it tastes very good!
Lavender Syrup:

Preparation:
Harvest the lavender and let it sit for 1-2 hours so that all the little creatures can migrate out. Slice the lemons and bring the lavender to a strong boil once with the sugar, lemons, and the pulp of the vanilla bean.
Let the mixture stand for at least 24 hours. Then strain it through a sieve and then filter the liquid through a kitchen towel. Boil the clear liquid for 1 to 1.5 hours and pour it into sterilized jars. Your super delicious lavender syrup is ready.
Do not throw away the lemons! They are almost candied. I always freeze them and use them later.
This time for the lavender bread.
For this you need:
Preparation:
Warm the oat milk and dissolve the margarine in it. Mix the flour with the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and yeast. Now knead in the lukewarm oat milk with the margarine until a nice dough forms. Knead in the finely chopped lemon pieces and the lavender blossoms. Let the dough rest in a warm place until it has risen to about double its size. At least 1 hour.
Braid a beautiful loaf from the dough.
Bake the bread in a preheated oven at approx. 170° circulating air for approx. 35-40 minutes. Done, enjoy your meal.
Dein Lavendelbrot wird nach gemacht, wenn wir Lavendel wieder im Garten haben und ernten können. LG Alex
