Vegan Langos, quick and easy to make yourself. A treat just like at the market!
Unfortunately, they are not vegan and thus only suitable for vegetarians at best.
Langos can be easily "converted" to vegan, the result is fantastic and quick to make. So, let's go:
Ingredients:
Here's how to make it:
Mix and knead the flour with the yeast and water. A starter dough is not necessary. Let the dough rise in a warm place until about double in size. (approx. 30-40 minutes)

You can press the garlic through a garlic press or cut it into small pieces. Remove the germ beforehand, this is supposed to make it more digestible. You also have the choice whether to fry the garlic or not. If you fry it, your chances of not having to sleep on the couch tonight increase... ;-)

Cut the spring onions into approx. 0.5cm wide rings.
When your dough has risen, divide it into 3 equal pieces and shape it. Do not use a rolling pin, because that will press the air out and the dough will not be fluffy! Pulling is what yeast dough likes. Now place the flatbread in the hot pan and fry it briefly on both sides.

Then you can spread the garlic, vegan cream cheese with vegan grated cheese and sprinkle the spring onions over it. A little salt and pepper complete your langos.
Enjoy it hot! Bon appétit!

Langos! Eine Leibspeise von mir! Vegan habe ich das noch nie gegessen. Das mache ich nach.
